That is a reason plus with the weather been rainy & cold there's less customer traffic. I do agree that Seattle could do better in hours of operation that's for sure.
Unfortunately, I did not stay in there. I did see people seating around with their laptop. Sorry for not really answering your question
Yes 6am-8pm
Good place for coffee. Open midnight
One of the best coffee places in Seattle! Their espresso is top notch and the ambiance is what you probably envision when you think Seattle cafe (not Starbucks obviously). They have basically every alternative milk option you can imagine. I will say their pastries are not very good, compared to some other cafes, but I can't discredit them for that because it's not at all the focus.
Delicious flavour in their beans. A little dim inside but the warm staff make up for that.
Nice place, good drinks and interesting vibe. One of the 2 staff was okay although seems to lack patients she looks tired with bags under her eyes. The other one looks male with a creative outfit have this angry face the whole time. Made it hard to request orders more than once, especially more hot water for my tea. Doesn't seem like he wants to be there and seems like not wanting to help customers. Love to help cafes out but staffs makes it uncomfortable to be there to order a drink.
Friendly place, good coffee and pastries..
Vita used to be one of the top two indy coffee roaster shops in the PNW. Unfortunately, now they serve luke warm, unfilled lattes seemingly annoyed that you even bothered them with an order. Try Vivace instead.
Delicious espresso drinks, plenty of seating, a wide range of music tastes (all great for the feeling of the place) and a staff of friendly baristas who work together as though dancing. What more could you want?
Coffee shop in the heart of Cap Hill. Coffee is delicious , building is unique, and staff are very friendly!
Their whole beans are fantastic
Good coffee. Great selection!
Coffee is ok, not great. Only one option for pour over. I expect more from any Seattle coffee shop! Music and overall atmosphere is good.
Specialized coffee shop.. And they have there own roasting equipment and you can find there coffee in lots of other shops like branded chocolate stores all over Seattle
Excellent coffee. Open late. Some customers were yelling loudly
Often imitated, but never duplicated. Best late night espresso on the hill.
Great coffee and people!
Very helpful and insightful roasters. Also great advise for places to visit, eat and drink at!
My absolute favorite espresso in all of Seattle. It's thick, gritty, bitter and strong. Also great service and open late!
Good spot to people watch. There’s a decent amount of seating but I might have felt that way because it wasn’t very crowded on a Friday afternoon. I saw some people on laptops so it might be fine for working if it’s not crowded but it was a little dark inside which would deter me. I ordered a coffee and a chai tea latte, I thought that both were solid. Service was quick so that was a plus as well.
Always friendly staff and good, strong coffee. A great location to people watch.
I was really excited when I saw that they had French Press made coffee. But I was really disappointed when I saw the barista pour the drink from a premade batch, I asked if that was really French press coffee and he gave a simple answer of yes, with no other explanation. The coffee didn't taste right, and was uncharacteristically bitter. The vibe of the place was refreshing, slightly dark but all the meanwhile cozy. But I don't feel that the ambiance is enough to make up for the coffee and the service.
The macchiato was chocolaty and delicious!
GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! (That's for great coffee and other products, great and friendly professional service, and great atmosphere including cleanliness). I WAS A PROFESSIONAL COFFEE TASTER FOR MANY YEARS, AND I'VE STARTED COFFEE SHOPS THAT ARE SUCCESSFUL. This place roasts their own coffee and they're EXTREMELY good at it. Their coffee is better than ANY COFFEE SHOP WITH "STAR" IN THE NAME (WHOM, I MUST SAY, MAKE GREAT COFFEE NO MATTER WHAT PEOPLE SAY, BUT NOT THIS GOOD). THERE IS SOME LIMITED SIDEWALK SEATING. FRESH AIR INSIDE (OPEN WINDOWS) PLACES TO CHARGE DEVICES WITH WALL PLUGS (NO WIRELESS CHARGING) AND RESTROOMS FOR CUSTOMERS (KEY, ASK BARISTA).
Good coffee and nice interior
I loved the vibe of this location. A decent cortado that holds up against the many cafes in the area. The seating and environment are really what makes this stop shine!
Very well made carmel latte. I would recommend.
Good coffee, nice service and good ambient
One of the strongest cold brews I’ve ever had, lightning in a bottle literally. Taste was good but nothing special. Very alternative vibe if that’s what you are looking for
Friendly & efficient staff, chill vibe, wifi, and really good cold brew. What more do you want?
I actually work for Beechers with Caffé Vita and the location on Capitol Hill had a great vibe! Loved the mocha with that orange peel. Staff were very polite and had great customer service.
Took a coffee tour here and learned so much! I really appreciated the background on the company and their beans. There were also so many samples we had trouble finishing it all!
Caffe Vita, I tried your cold pressed coffee on the Bremerton to Seattle ferry today... Was not impressed... I actually thought it tasted not very good. There was a chalk feel to the coffee that was unpleasant, I will have to try your other coffee to correct this review.
New owners, friendly staff and they no longer close early. Enjoying a night time cold brew.
Probably one of the most well known cafés on Capitol Hill. They have good coffee and pastries and this is a great spot to hang out with a laptop to get work done. Some complain that the music is too loud but it's typically not annoying to me. I recommend stopping in if you haven't been. This is also a great place in summertime as their cold brew is fantastic.
Love their coffee! The staff are friendly and always helpful! I recommend having family members visit the local coffee locations other than Starbucks. Even some local businesses serve their coffee.I've tried to find a spot to sit here a few times and since it's in a prime location. I usually have a hard time finding an outlet to plug my laptop because there are others relaxing and working here. Also open late!
The dark decor was really cool. No crowd on Sunday morning so its a perfect way to enjoy a cup of Joe with delicious croissant.
Horrible tasting coffee. Arrogant baristas. Avoid.
Great cozy coffee shop. They feature local artists every month and do a really good job selecting artists. They coffee is really hood, too
Great place to grab a quick coffee or hang out all day getting work done
I'm glad that they are under new ownership now, but it's sad to not recognize any of the baristas anymore. Coffee and service are still legit, though!
Caffé Vita Coffee Roasting is one of my favorite hipster coffee spots for a chai latte done right and none of that syrupy sh*t! Atmosphere is good but can shift from quiet to noisy at the drop of a hat. Other pluses: dark roast coffee beans, outdoor seating good for watching dogs walk their people, and fast polite service. Bravo!
This place is local and more than 20 years experience in Seattle area. Currently they have 5-6 branches in several states. Organic coffee
After some 30(?) years still the best coffee in Seattle
It’s quite dark in here, and gives off more of a bar vibe, which is some people’s thing! My only qualm with this shop is that I paid $4 for a cup of tea, and it didn’t come with a pot. It was put in a disposable cup, making it difficult to control steeping. I’d really love to come back if they would change how they served their tea!
Fun neighborhood, really delicious latte (and living in New Zealand made me a coffee snob). The lighting is low but the music is good so a nice place to hang out in dim lighting.
Decent setup for doing laptop work, it you can find a good spot. Limited food offerings.
Excellent customer service, professional adherence to the COVID-19 precautionary measures, and delicious coffee drinks!Their mixed coffee drinks are not overwhelmingly sweet. The flavors of the coffee come through and the mixers add just enough sweetness to complement the flavors. The straight espresso is brewed im such a way that there is no noticeable bitterness and acidity. The customer service is wonderful. I called in with a question and the manager was friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. While in the shop, I noticed that the employees were all masked and gloved. There was a plastic shield in front of the cash register to protect employees and customers from exposure. They also have markers on the floors to provide visual aids to encourage social distancing. Overall, it was a lovely experience all around.Oh! And be sure to bring card payments as they are not currently accepting cash (to prevent spread of COVID-19).
Well it's pretty decent. Could be cleaner. I like going here, since it doesn't get as crowded as the other coffee shops in the vicinity. Better than Starbucks though.
Delicious! I actually had an Italian soda, so I didn't end up trying their coffee. Loved the vibe and atmosphere of this place though. Really dimly lit spot, a cool and relaxing place to chill right in the middle of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The music is a bit loud if you're trying to read, but overall, the white noise is what some people prefer, so it's doable. Quick service. No line no wait! I would come back again.
Good coffee, cosy interior and excellent baristas in a great location. However, upper management treats their staff terribly and it shows. Needs to change.
Real delicious latte. Came here while visiting seattle and their coffee beans are real delicious. My son even loved their apparel and bought a jacket for him.
